Terms of Service (Updated 2-25-2025)
In this Terms of Service "Agreement", "Company", "We", "Us", and "Our" refer to FasNET Services LLC, a state of Connecticut limited liability company, with the mailing address of PO BOX 1579, Burlington, CT 06013 USA.
"Customer", "Client", "You", and "Your" refer to the individual or entity purchasing or using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1: By using our hosting services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. Your use of the services constitutes your acceptance of these terms, and if you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services. These terms may be changed by us at any time without prior notice.
2. Use of Our Products and Services
2.1: We try to take an "Applicable law" stance when it comes to content hosted on our services. You must not use our services for any illegal or malicious activities, including but not limited to distributing malware, engaging in hacking, or infringing upon intellectual property rights. You are also responsible for regularly backing up your website data and maintaining the security of your login credentials. All uses of our services must additionally comply with all points in this Terms of Service agreement and our Acceptable Use Policy.
2.2: You agree that any violations of our Acceptable Use Policy may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
2.3: You may not have access to the data that you stored after we suspend or terminate your service. You are responsible for backing up the data that you use. If we cancel your service in its entirety without cost, we will refund you on a pro-rata basis the amount of your payment corresponding to the portion of your service remaining. We may also take legal action if your actions result in harm to our servers, network, or reputation.
3. Payments/Billing
3.1: Users agree to pay the fees associated with the chosen hosting plan. Billing cycles and payment methods are outlined on our website. If you choose a subscription-based plan, your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or termination of services. We do not provide refunds for unused portions of the subscription period.
3.2: Invoicing for recurring service will be issued at least 10 days in advance of the due date.
3.3: Unpaid services will be suspended 2 days past the due date.
3.3: Unpaid services will be terminated 7 days past the due date.
4. Responsibility
4.1: You are solely responsible for all content on your account. You agree to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security. FasNET Services shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to provide us with accurate information or account security.
4.2 We shall not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use or inability to use our hosting services. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or misuse of our services. While we strive to provide reliable and secure hosting, you acknowledge that no online service is completely immune to vulnerabilities, and you use our services at your own risk.
5. Changes to Terms
5.1: We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. While we will try and notify you of any significant changes to these terms via email or by prominently displaying a notice on our website, it's your responsibility to review these terms periodically to stay informed about any changes that may affect your use of our services.
